And I thought horsepower was expensive.

Need to lose 35 lbs? and a spare G from your wallet? Then this is for you! Pretty cool product but I think I'll wait for the price to drop a little...

I have one on my Ktm. Great battery on my 990, only weighs about a pound and small enough to fit where the charcoal can used to be under the seat.

Don’t see the point on a car unless you’re racing.

Odessey batterys cost less than half that, I had one in my box for over 4 years.

I think this is one of those "Money is no object, gotta have the best" technology items that hasn't been completely thought out. Can you imagine knowing you spent money to have the ultimate technology available that has shut itself down to protect you from a dead battery and that will start after months of storage by simply pressing a button on top of this masterpiece of a battery, only to realize that you can't get to the battery without a jump to open the hood.........

Not worth the money for racers. An Odyssey PC-680 only weighs 4 lbs more yet only costs $130.

I'm sort of confused. According to the information at the link provided by the original poster, that RS30 battery weighs in at 11.5 lbs.
The PC 680 in my Ducati is said to be 15.4 lbs.

2-valve SS?

When I built my own custom 2- valve, and turned it into a track toy, I found a YUASA that weighed under 5lbs. (And I mounted up near the yoke. If you look closely in the 2nd photo, you'll see it)

Yes I must confess that mine isn’t “intelligent “ but it really is a great battery. At least five years old and still going strong on a bike that usually eats them.

Nice Duc Maytag. Had a white frame SS many years ago and loved it. Unfortunately it was stolen from me.

I'm not yet sold in lithium batteries as replacements for the lead acid battery. I had a battery failure on my Duc 900SS. Should have done more homework before installing.

I’m happy with Deka EXT-30L, 21 lbs battery only for $115.

I was a bit worried about 400 CCA, but worrking great through Michigan cold weather so far!

Shaving off another 10 lbs is interesting but not at that much price tag... hopefully it comes down in future.

I have a nice aluminum mounting bracket for a Odesey for sale if anyone is interested, $30 shipped in US.

BYPro please clarify if that mount is for a 925 or 680 Odyssey battery. If it is for a 925 then I'll take it. Either way it is a generous offer.

it is a custom 6061 aluminum mount for a 925, much simpler than a Rennline & lighter
