Rough weeks (need help with wheels)...

It's been a real rough couple weeks as far as my vehicles are concerned.

A couple weeks ago I was driving my truck and I got caught in a hail storm which did damage to just about every panel on my vehicle.

Last weekend I noticed the RMS leak that many of you have read about in my other post "Rough weekend".

Last week I finally received a set of wheels and tires (purchase on ebay) that I plan to use for track events. They are factory 17" Boxster S wheels but in double checking the part numbers I think they are all the same. The part number is 996.362.126.05 which I think are all 17x8's? The offset is 50mm all around but I believe the factory 17's are 50 in the rear and 55 up front. The tires are Kumho Victoracers V700 with 225's up front and 255's in the rear.

My question is will the wheels fit on the front of my car? If so, do I gain or lose anything? Do I need spacers up front?

They may infact all be 8.5" wheels. The factory comes with 17x7 up front 205/50/17 and the rears 17x8.5" 255/40/17. Double check the size on the wheel itself, should be stamped somewhere on each wheel. I would also contact the seller and let him/her know about the issue, they may have been sent that way on accident.
