Headlight plate is loose, light won’t stay in place

2001 Boxster S

Video of loose plate:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXFSjRYKQFI

Right side light is tight but left side has 2 loose ‘anchors’ and not sure how to tighten.

I tried a star wrench to tighten, but it’s very tough to turn and I don’t want to break. Bronze twist but seems built for finger tighten, but it won’t catch. Any help?

Thanks

Are you sure you are getting the light into the rails properly on that side? I think my little shelf moves like that, but I have had times when I thought the headlight was properly in the rails and it wasn't and wouldn't fully lock. And one side of mine is a little tougher to get right than the other. The latch portion needs to pull the light back to lock it.

Here's some instructions about the headlight mount I posted a while back...

Hope it helps.

Those headlight trays are a PITA to adjust. I wish you luck.
