CAT Replacement advice

Hey

Recently i posted about emission problems and thinking the back box was bust. It has some leaks but not major so for now I think this can remain.

However I've been told one of the cats is melted. Completely done.

Just wanted some advice from anyone else who's had to replace cats on the Boxster (Mine is 2001 Boxster S 3.2) . Have you bought brand new and if so where from and what sorta cost?

I'm from Scotland so ideally UK prices and stock availability.

If you've done this with used parts, where is a recommended place for trying?

Phoned porsche to see what their parts would cost direct....and it was laughable!! (£6k plus but includes discount on existing parts return)

Cheers
