Boxster S. Dash lights.

I am looking at a Boxster S. Interested in buying it, but in one of the photo, it has two lights that I have not seen in other Boxsters. Just wondering if this is normal, or should I stay far away.

1. Can't quite see what it is....But it looks like the Seat Belt sign. Does it have a guy with a \ through him?
2. That is the Cruise Control Light. Your steering Stalk on the right has a push button that will turn it off and on. When its on its just letting you know its ready for your command.

Get a Pre Purchase Inspection on the car before you buy it, especially if you're buying it online. Best $250 you will ever spend on your Porsche.

Assuming the transmission is the same, the faces are the same.

While on the subject, I'm going to have to say that IMNSHO the 987 base black face works better visually, in practice, than the grey S faces.

The green light is cruise control. The other light is either the seatbelt light or the convertible light.

Thanks guys.

This is an out of state car. I am in Cali. The car is in Bryan, Texas. Closest big city is Houston, but thats 2 hours (100 miles) away according to Google. Its also near Texas World Speeday.

It looks very clean on photos, but you know the story. Might just be alot of wax and polish. Is there any members near by that could help me take a look at the car? I promise i'll buy you a nice dinner when I go pick up the car ! =]

Also, the closest Porsche Dealership is hours away near Austin. I dont think I will be able to get a PPI done until I buy the car. Any advice?

Thanks guys !
