A/C compressor connection

Hello everybody. Please, could you help me to find out where to connect a wire comming out from the A/C compressor on my 986 Boxster? I was "googling" for a long time but did not find the answer. Apparently it should be connected to a low pressure switch but how does it look like and where is it located? See attached picture. Thank you in advance for any help. Regards Jakub

My compressor was disconnected - just like yours.

The plug that it goes into is tucked up underneath the intake manifold.

If you extend the wire from the compressor along the intake manifold towards the back of the car you'll find it.

I wish I had taken a photo of it.

Good luck.

Actually, I can see the connector in the photo you posted. It's tucked up against the black flap. It has a single green wire attached to it, and has a black cable tie securing it in place.

Jakub,
Welcome to the Forum.
It may have been deliberately disconnected to work in that area and the mechanic just forgot to reconnect it? Perhaps there was a fault in the a/c system and this was an expedient?
Let us know what happens when you reconnect and we'll try to help.
Interested to read a Post from the Czech Republic -amazing the reach of the Internet Forums.

Thanks

Hello guys and thank you for your time and patience. I had a garage working on the engine so they apparently just forgot to connect this wire. Within a few days I will try to connect it and then I will post the result.
I believe this forum has a few Czech readers but not many of them start a new thread like I did. Have a nice weekend

Update

Hello guys again, after a while.
I did not have the opportunity to fix the car earlier than last week, sorry for the late reply. I connected the wire to the right place BUT the A/C still does not work. It "clicks" but no cold air is comming. The mechanic who worked with the engine said to me there was missing (broken) some sensor which is placed near the top of the A/C compressor. Any clues what and where I should look for it? Thank you again for your help. Best regards Jakub
