Window regulator adjustment

Hi All,

Just replaced my driver's side window regulator which went in no problem, but once I got it all buttoned back up, I noticed the back side of the window had slipped down. I have two questions: is the window supposed be pushed all the way to the bottom of the brackets that hold it in place, and how tight can I tighten the screws in those brackets? Just afraid of tightening it too much and shattering the glass. Thanks in advance for suggestions.
