ignition switch failing. that's what happened with me.

i had to learn where the spot was that allowed me to take it out. became muscle memory for a while and i ignored it

long story short i wanted to take a trip and figured i'd be okay to continue ignoring it...

i had to replace the switch in colorado in a parking lot after almost getting stuck in omaha when it didn't want to crank or release the key
