Anyone seen this hardtop in person??

The Hardtop Company recently started making this top for the '05 and up Boxster. I'm curious if anyone knows anything about it??

Pics are obviously of a 986, but they advertise a 987 as a new addition.
I'm not crazy about the oddly shaped second window, but I'm curious if anyone knows of the company, a UK based enterprise.

I agree....it just misses the mark somehow. The stock is a little too chopped off as well, for my tastes but what else is there? The zeinntop is nice but requires a lot of work to install, even if it becomes available here at all!

I did find a stock top 986-563-005-01 is the part #. http://porsche.parkplacestores.com/boxsterhardtop.html wants $2995 and only (yup, I called!) $5.00 shipping anywhere in Continental US. They also offer a 10% discount for PCA members making it $2700 delivered to my door in factory painted condition. It sure looks like a good way to go. The 987's take their own top and I can't find any used ones at all.

Then call me crazy, because that quarter window is fugly. Ruins what otherwise would be half-way decent lines. Very distracting.

If it had round lines (like the rest of the car!!) it would be great......it just seems to clash!

Exactly! The roofline itself isn't bad at all; rather Caymanesque, which isn't a bad thing really, and judging from the Cayman S badging on the boot, it is the look they were going for. If the quarter window were more along the lines of a 911/Carrera.... that would be sweet.

But that quarter window is definitely at odds with the rest of the lines of the car; the shape is wrong, the angle is wrong, and the trim is wrong...makes it look like an afterthought.

The aesthetic just isn't there for me.
