Tire wear - Michelin PSS

Hi all, here are some pics of my 4 Michelin Pilot Super Sports, for your comment. These tires are approximately two years old, with slightly less than 20K miles on them. I reside in Southern California, so the weather is usually warm and the driving good. The car (a 2001S) is my DD, so its pretty much city streets and freeways. I drive normally (most of the time), don't take the car out in the rain, and never sniff the track. As you can see, the rears are bald as a billiard ball, with steel showing through. The fronts are in good shape, with plenty of wear left. The passenger side rear seemed to wear more than the driver's side. I could have kept the fronts, but decided to replace all four tires as a set. I went with a set of Continental ExtremeContact DW's. BTW, I'm running a new ROW M030 suspension kit all around. Anyway, just thought I'd share. We'll see how the Conti's compare. Happy motoring!

Not unusual to go through 2 sets of rear for 1 set of front

BTW, Michelin PSS have a 30k mile tread wear factory warranty, but they cut it in 1/2 for staggered setup, so your rears ar 5 k past the warranty

do you still have the fronts?
What size?

I've been running a set of Continental Extreme Contact DW on my 03 S, no complains but am looking to move to Pilot SS when I need to replace them next time.

How do they compare? Is it worth the extra dollars?

Its difficult to say at this point because I haven't put very many miles on the Conti's yet. My initial impression is very positive though and, considering the type of driving I do, they seem great! The price difference is significant.
