Clock

1st...can't set my clock with the rod in the cluster...so I disconnected my battery at noon. Today I needed to set it again but when I disconnected the battery and reconnected the cloock stayed at the same time. it still keeps time (moves ahead) it just doesn't set back to 12:00. Thoughts?

Thanks

Hello,

do you have a secondary battery or a hifi system with a big capacitor in your car?

PS: i saw that you've installed CC: http://986forum.com/forums/performance-technical-chat/63168-cruise-wont-set.html
Did to reprogram the ECU to recognize the CC?

Regards, Markus

No to big stereo etc. Yes to reprogramed but the clock worked fine until today (reprogram was 2weeks ago) when I disconnected the battery and the clock did not go back to 12

THanks

Try leaving the battery disconnected for at least 5 minutes before setting the clock.
My clock still runs if I disconnect the battery for just a couple of minutes.
