What are the pros and cons of plasti dip vs powder coat for wheels? I have some BBS wheels on right now but was thinking about making my stock wheels black and throwing them on for the winter

Plasti dip is cheap, you can do it yourself, and you don't need to take the tires off!

But if you really want black wheels, I would go for the powder coating as it is a definitive solution!

Agreed with prior post. Think of Plastidip as a "try before you buy" option compared to powder coat. I spent $36 on 4 cans plus 1 can of glossifier clear coat. I know it won't last forever and I certainly don't expect it to survive getting new tires. But for not much money it's easy to try out a new look.
