Hmm...the gauges on these cars leave a lot to be desired. I'm starting to think that the only way to be safe is to use the trip meter at each fill to get a good handle on fuel consumption / mileage and do my own approximation of distance-to-empty. Assuming, of course that you are starting with a true fill of 16.9 US gal. (64 liters).
