Tyres: Pirelli P Zero Rosso v Michelin Pilot Sport 2

Just wanted to share my experiences with both tyres. My 986 S came with the Pirellis but I've since changed to the Michelins.

Overall I'm happier with the Michelins. The road noise is considerably less and they ride over speed humps more comfortably. They feel a bit more planted in the wet too.

On the track i prefer the Michelins too. Not done any scientific tests but I think they give a bit more feedback.

Can you really remember how the Pirellis performed when new?

Just about any new tire is nicer than the old tires just removed.
