Comprehensive localized information is definitely worth money. Having to hunt for info through multiple references sucks. I voted yes. I personally prefer printed information over digital files. It would probably cost half the $60 in ink for me to print it out. If it looks like the example from the 911 book it would be great.

Thanks for the continued input.

Link to where we can get one?

The 996 and 997 books are available now at The Knowledge Gruppe

Its not looking like a 986/ 987 book will happen. The demand is not great enough based on several studies I have done, here, and elsewhere.

Jake, if the 987 book will no be printed could you consider selling an electronic version?
Thanks!

A book? Like a printed one? In 2015? Really?

No thanks, for my needs (which are mostly straightforward DIY stuff) I can easily look it up on the internet.

Yes, a book in 2015... People still use catalogs, too. I still get letters from customers sometimes, and those are always serious buyers.

The only requests we have gotten for the electronic version of the book has come from enthusiasts. I primarily created these books for technicians, and we've only had one single technician request an electronic version.

The major cost of putting this book together isn't the publishing, it's the time that it takes to seek out all the information. That's why a 986/987 version won't be made.

It does appear that my M96 Definitive Guide will need to be made electronically available, as well as in print. The issue is that makes it way too easy for everyone to share it with their buddies. I'll have to make sure every other page has an advertisement, to make it worth circulating.
