How do I know if my cooling fan system is working correctly?

Thanks, those links were very helpful.

This is my first Porshe (1999 Boxster, 52,00 milses) and I'm trying to understand that all systems are operating properly.

Thanks again!

If you ever get the cash, pick up a Durametric tool. It can turn on (test) every fan in the cooling system.
