P1502 Check Engine Light (CEL) Problem 2000 Boxster S

Getting Code P1502: Fuel Pump Relay.
Clear Codes and start.. runs fine.
Turn off and re start.. limp mode. Won't rev, rough idle.

Changed Fuel Pump Relay.. still in limp mode.

What should I do now?
2000 Boxster S
Thanks!

Check for corroded ground?
Check for full power at relay terminals?
Look for wiring damage/rodents?
Recent fuel filter change? If not:

Three possibilities', bad pump relay, short circuit (wiring issue), DME faulty.

Eric,
Here's how to check the fuel pump relay:
Porsche Boxster Fuel Pump Replacement - 986 / 987 (1997-08) - Pelican Parts Technical Article
See Fig 2
"This photo shows the relay panel under the driver's side foot well. The fuel pump is not normally turned on unless the engine is running, but you can remove the relay and bypass it using a simple jumper wire as shown here. Remove the fuel pump relay (shown in the inset) and then jumper pins 30 and 87 (typically labeled 3 and 5 on the relay panel). This will cause the fuel pump to turn on automatically when you turn the key in the ignition."
The part number may be?
996 615 101 00
there are good generics for $10
