Again AOS failure

Hello,

When starting the car began to smoke, and I remove air intake and found therein oil I bought a new air oil separator and smoking stopped at startup. After about 1000 km appeared white smoke while driving. At a moment when the car began to smoke in white, started flashing CEL, now only lights. Now I disassembled the air intake and again found oil. It looks back on air oil separator. Is there any reason that could have a new air oil separator destroy?

Thank you!http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1425802139.jpg

How does the white smoke smell?
Did you check the car for error codes?

Sm33C 03-08-2015 03:05 AM

Smells like burnt rubber. Error codes will try to find out.

Is the smoke coming out from under the car, or out of the tailpipe? If its coming out from under the car and smells like burning rubber, check the belt. An accessory pulley may have frozen up.

Smoke comes from the exhaust. Disgnostiku I have in the course of this week.

There seem to be 2 things that are the 'final straw' for a weak AOS diaphragm:
1.overfilling the sump
2.tracking + 1.above.
Are you sure you did not overfill ?

Sm33C 03-11-2015 07:27 AM

Yes, I'm sure. :( I'm afraid that the reclamation AOS will not be successful. :(

Diagnostic returns P0410 and P1411

Greetings to you in Prague
There is a simple test for AOS failure- try removing the oil-filler cap and test the vacuum."Search" 'slack+tube+manometer'.
I hope you have somewhere warm to work on the AOS replacement- tedious job.

What brand was the AOS? Uro brand?

Sm33C 03-18-2015 01:18 AM

AOS was purchased at the Porsche dealership in Prague, AOS I mounted DIY.

Thank you, I'll do a test vacuum. Oil-filler cap can be removed very difficult (made before installing the new AOE and after installation too), it can be a symptom of the loss of vacuum?

Gelbster 03-18-2015 09:12 AM

It sounds as if your vacuum is normal. The difficulty with overcoming the vacuum when you try to remove the oil-filler cap indicates that the diaphragm of the AOS has failed.
Suggest you " Search " AOS failure before you proceed -it is a frequent subject.

Found this video describing the vacuum test and AOS failure:

I hope he managed to clean his lungs !
For our overseas readers who speak/understand English-English, the word
" oil " is contorted to 'awahl' in this video. It is the same fluid despite the pronunciation change ;-).
