If you can't tell what the problem is by looking at the front belt & pulleys, don't start the engine again, save that for your mechanic.

Did you install a Porsche waterpump or a cheaper off brand? Did it have a metal impeller on the backside?

Agreed I'll wait for the mechanic to take a look. I'm not sure about the water pump. it was done by a local shop that was not a Porsche specialist. My guess is that it was not OEM.
