Chain tensioner - new or used???

Installed new tensioners and start noise is much reduced

OK. on tensioners.but can I re-use cam to cam chains?

Cam chain removal requires engine removal and disassembly. Yes, if I was there I would change them. The items discussed here are cam chain tensioning mechanisms (for the cam chain paddles/ramps) which can be withdrawn from the engine without disassembly or engine removal
