Blackstone Oil Analysis report
Well, got mine back today...here is what they said:
BRENT: Although you haven't had the IMS bearing replaced, we're still not seeing any indication that it'll be trouble down the road. Your wear metals look fantastic, especially since you had two track days and four autocross events on this fill. Steady wear like this is a good indication that your engine's internal parts are wearing properly. Last time, the only mark was the viscosity, but it read in the proper range for a 15W/40 this time. There wasn't any dirt, fuel, antifreeze, or moisture to speak of and the low insolubles show more than adequate oil filtration. Looks good from here!

Did you just get the standard $25 test or did you pick some of the special categories?

That looks like the standard $25 report. I got one too and it had the same stuff on there.

correct - just $25 report. If they saw something, i'd have them do more analysis if needed...for now, pretty happy. 116k miles on it!

Here is an article that discusses how to read and interpret a UOA, and happens to use one of the Blackstone Labs reports as an example.

Edit: it looks like he paid the extra $10 and got the TBN value at the bottom which appears to be the amount of additives left in the oil.

Since my 01, with 36K miles, still has the original IMS and RMS bearings, I can see that this Oil Analysis is going to be a standard practice in my oil changes from this point forward.

Correct - that is a typo. 15w/50 is what I use...
