What do you think of these wheels???

I ran across this website, and the wheels seem very nice and very reasonably priced. The wheels should be lighweight and seem to rival the BBS, HRE, I_Forged, etc. What do you think?? I am in the market for a nice wheel but dont want to fork over $4K.

While they certainly look good I think you should consider the upkeep. These are polished wheels that will require a lot of maintenance to keep them looking good.

Check out the BBS RS-GT 2 piece forged wheels. Wheel Enhancement sells them for pretty close to what these wheels are going for and they are clear coated.

Nice wheels.

With the aluminum wheels, I've had polished with the clear coat and with out. I prefer without th cc because with a little elbow grease once a month, the wheels come back as new. AND should you decide to Curb serve an aluminum you can have a guy come out and buff it out in an hour. Much less hassle.

With the CC wheel, eventually the CC starts to flake off. Should you curb a wheel, or have some road rash on the side the wheel, it must be taken off, brought to a wheel repair guy, then they'll stip the clear, buff out the aluminum then have to re-spray the clear.

On a side note, I heard that you can wax your rims like you would your car. This keeps most brake dust off (keeping it clean).

"If you can't say anything nice about __________, make something up." That's what my mother taught me to do. She also taught me not to lie, which made the first lesson really hard to pull off.

Reminds me of a buddy's newborn baby. His wife turned to me, beaming with pride over her first little bundle of joy, and said, "Isn't he cute?"

The kid was just about as ugly as a bleached baboon.

So, with great enthusiasm and an upbeat tone, I said, "I've seen a lot of babies and that sure is one of 'em!"

My buddy and his wife smiled and never knew I skirted the truth.
