Trans fluid leak

I thought it was the front pump seal but not so sure it is now. I see a lot of oil at the electrical connector under the bell housing.

similar to the Mechatronic sleeve leaks that BMWs get in their ZF transmisions.

Anyone see this type of leak?

Ha, I guess it does not matter anymore now, after removing the converter it looks that the trans has been messed with in the past. It looks like I have to decide to rebuild the tranny myself or get a used one. Hmmm.

Well the bushing in the pump where the converter rides in was replaced incorrectly and does not fit the converter properly. I replaced the pump case with a new bushing, and all is well again.

Some type of silicone I fear but nothing in the case or filter.

The seal could be damaged; the bearings could be bad…

How do I post a new question?
