Trans fluid leak
I thought it was the front pump seal but not so sure it is now. I see a lot of oil at the electrical connector under the bell housing.
similar to the Mechatronic sleeve leaks that BMWs get in their ZF transmisions. Anyone see this type of leak? |
Ha, I guess it does not matter anymore now, after removing the converter it looks that the trans has been messed with in the past. It looks like I have to decide to rebuild the tranny myself or get a used one. Hmmm.

Yes these bolts have been f' up by someone. :( Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk |
Well the bushing in the pump where the converter rides in was replaced incorrectly and does not fit the converter properly. I replaced the pump case with a new bushing, and all is well again.

so that wasn't JB weld under a few of those bolts???
|
Some type of silicone I fear but nothing in the case or filter.

The seal could be damaged; the bearings could be bad…

How do I post a new question?
