Torque spec needed.

I just can't seem to find the torque spec for the new microencapsulated bolts. Anyone know?http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1384289534.jpg

Porsche workshop manual says 10 Nm / 7.5 ftlbs for M6 thread screws, crankcase halves. that those?

The Germans call it Gudntight!

I just put together a 3.6 engine block and tightened those bolts today, I would just approach them the way I would any other 6mm diameter bolt.
The main issue you need to worry about is using too much silicone between the block halves, since the excess bead on the inside eventually finds its way into the oil system and gives your engine a stroke...

Big negative on that fella's!

Case, cam cover, & chain gear wheel to camshaft bolts are 10.9 grade because they are torqued to 10 ft/lbs or 13nm.

Standard 8.8 grade 6mm bolts are 7.5 ft/lbs

10ftlbs it is the. Thank you for chiming in.
