new errors

changed the plugs and the coils. took car out. did not throw a CEL but there was an obvious misfire or something going on. car ran good other wise but getting on it at one point it shuttered almost like it was cutting out.

Checked on the durametric and it told me no fault codes...but when I looked at the ready status section I saw this. Any ideas, thoughts, help, etc?

Well, I hav4 tried every way to Sunday to get this picture to work but basically when I click on the ready status it says

Catalytic converter efficiency - Failed
Fuel Tank Ventilation - Failed
Secondary Air System - Pass
Oxygen Sensors - Pass
Oxygen Sensor Heater - Pass

Ps - gas cap seal is in good shape no tears...

Either way it's important to note there's no codes. One would think that if there was substantial problem a code would be thrown. Does it stumble just when applying throttle or while cruising? Bummer you've still got issues after all those new parts.

I took it back out and really jumped all over it. It did not miss or stumble on a 30 minute ride like it did right after I replaced everything. Plugged durametric back in and still no codes but still showing under the ready status ...

Catalytic converter efficiency - Failed
Fuel Tank Ventilation - Failed

What do those things mean??

did you maybe bump the injestor harness? Sounds like an injector connection may be loose or off. Not sure of the proximity of the injector connections to the plug/coil set up.

trimer,
Did you disconnect your battery or reset trouble codes using your Durametric recently?

Reset fault codes for the misfires a couple days ago. Installed the plugs and coils today. No more fault codes just what I have listed in the ready status.

It will take a few driving cycles and a few miles for these systems to verify status after a reset... Just drive your Boxster a few more times and the Catalytic converter efficiency and Fuel Tank Ventilation will complete the self check. It could take 60 miles or more of driving, and a few start-up/warm-up cycles.

Thanks Jager. I plan to put some miles on this week and will check again!
