Boxster Manual Spoiler Switch Malfunction

I am an owner of a 2003 Boxster and am troubleshooting a spoiler fault issue on my instrument cluster. The spoiler deploys and retracts automatically at designated speeds. However, I get a spoiler fault "Failure Spoiler Control" on my instrument cluster when the spoiler automatically deploys at speed. I have also noticed that my manual switch for spoiler up and down is also not working. Spoiler does not go up and down when I press the switch in the driver foot-well inside the fuse cluster.

If anyone has encountered this problem, please share your troubleshooting and fix. At the very least I would like to find out how to remove the manual spoiler switch in the fuse box for replacement or trouble shooting.

Thank you for your responses.
