Fuchs wheel experience?

My 2000 Boxster S has the 18" turbo twist wheels and I am happy with them. I have always loved the classic black centered Fuchs wheels as used for years on the 911 and see that they have been reissued in 18" size for the Boxster. Has any one considered or actually used them? A good fit for our cars or not? And I bet they are pricey!

I've seen the ad and photos in excellence magazine-if I could afford them I'd buy a set in a heartbeat

Love those rims to but they are big bucks. I think they run around 8 to 10K for a set. I'm not sure about putting wheels on a car that are worth as much as the whole car.

I have always loved that look too. These guys who are now using the Fuchs name had advertised for a couple of years that they were developing the FP2 wheel in 18" sizes, but I thought they had finally dropped it. Just my luck after I buy one set of Cayman wheels and 2 sets of OZ wheels, these guys come out with the ones I really want.

Talking Fuchs wheels price

A set of 4 of the 18" wheels is " just" under $4K!
