Desnorkeling: No instructions online anymore?

I'm a new owner, and I know it's not particularly difficult to do this based on descriptions I've gathered through a ton of searching, but I can't find any links with pictures and instructions anymore.

They are all old dead links, and/or pictures don't show up. The descriptions honestly don't make any sense. One of them (one of the more popular DIYs from what I could tell) wasn't even written in clear English, further confusing things.

Hi Hayden,

I have done this. Its pretty straight forward.

Step 1: Remove the driver's side intake grill. There is one screw securing it.

Step 2: Reach into the intake and get a good grip on the snorkel.

Step 3: Wiggle it up and down while pulling forcefully on it.

Step 4: Pull until it comes out.

Step 5: Re-install the intake grill.

I think it's the removal of the intake vent that is problematic. I've finally found something relevant on this that is still online with pictures: Vent Page - Boxster Tech Still not the clearest depiction, but I guess I'll just go tugging on stuff.

The snorkel part, I think I got. Just the end of the tube that's visible? Yank on that and a long piece will come out? Thanks.
