Lights, camera but no action?

Went out this morning to fire up the beast and nothing. Dash lights and gauges all came on but no cranking kinda like I tried to start it without depressing the clutch. It started fine yesterday several times but did notice my radio did not have any power on the way home. I recently replaced the ignition switch. Anything I should start narrowing down?

Could be time for a new battery. There wasn't an obvious warning when mine died. It started the car first thing in the morning. Twenty minutes later I went to start the car again and it wouldn't crank even though the dash looked normal. New battery and I was good to go.

The battery is six months old but I will check it. I check the cables to make sure they were secure

IM had the car all day and has not found the problem yet. Scary! Would a failed starter do this?

Yes, could be the starter. My starter worked fine and then one day...poof! Dead and gone, wouldn't make a sound.

But the starter wouldn't explain the strange radio behavior, so battery/alternator/electrical is still on the list of most likely suspects.
