No, the cam timing section is the OEM service manual runs several pages, requires specific tooling, and a working knowledge of the M96/97 engine assembly. Not hard, but it is not for someone that does not like to follow specific directions........

JFP, should I be able to douwnload this from the Porsche website?

I've already downloaded certain parts of the 986 manual. I don't recall different instructions for the 2003/2004 3 chain timing.

JFP I was able to download the sections from the Porsche website and you are correct, they are very specific and need to be followed carefully.
