Oh man, left coast weather looks much more pleasant that what's going on here.
I dig the rims, I just got the same (non-chromed) ones last week, as you know. So are you pleased with WheelDynamics.net? They need to get some pix of our Boxsters on their site, they'd probably sell more of those rims.
Buy my old rims!

What did you pay for them? Did you get them with tires pre-mounted?

Any idea how heavy they are, who makes them and whether they are TUV, DOT or JIL approved?

The guy at Wheel Dynamics could certainly tell you this. He told me they were made in Italy like the rest of his look-alike Porsche wheels, so we know they're not cheap Chinese made rims.

Not too shabby. Probably Mille Miglia as they seem to have a lock on decent "replica" wheels.

Hey Jeph...
Those are great looking wheels; I've been considering those on a 987.
How much clearance is there between the rim and the shock?
On my stock Boxster 9" rims I figure there is about 15mm or about 5/8" clearance. By my calculations, going with a 10" rims adds about 12mm to the inside of the wheel + plus the change in offset (+4mm) . That would seem to put the rim right up on the shock.
I'd like to consider these wheels but want to avoid spacers if at all possible.
Thanks
Mike

Is that 21 pounds in the front or rear? Also, what's the widths of your wheels? Yours might be slightly narrower than these. Also, I'm going off FedEx shipping weights. Each wheel was packed inside 2 large (wheel-sized) boxes, so the 23 & 26lbs may be a little higher than the rim's actual weight.

I don't know how different a 987 would be from a 986, but you may want to contact wheeldynamics.net (sales@wheeldynamics.net).
