How do those spray painted calipers look now?

Hi everyone,

I've seen several posts on painting calipers with duplicolor caliper spray paint while the calipers are still on the car. This was done by sanding the surface of the original paint and simply repainting the exposed surfaces of the calipers.

I'd like to know how they look after several months, or a lot of miles of hard driving. specifically how did they hold up against the heat?

Did they fade?

Did the clear coat fog up?

Thanks for any responses, I'm thinking of doing it myself but I want to know how they turn out with out media blasting and powder coating.

I painted mine using the duplicolor kit about 2 1/2 years ago.

Applied the decals after painting and then applied the clear coat.

They look just as good today as when I first painted them.

I have to touch up chips every now and then, but no fading or clouding.

Unless you track the car pretty seriously, I doubt any street use heat will alter the paint/looks. It is the rock chips/etc that would damage the paint.
