Custom exhausts?

Continuing my custom mods rant.....

Has anyone created a custom exhaust? I was thinking of something like the supersprint twin mufflers.

What about cutting and gutting a stock muffler and welding it back together?

I know these are not "appropriate porsche mods" but I am just wondering if ANYONE has ever done this.

I found an interesting mod here. Anyone seen or heard it?

How about a muffler bypass pipe like the one they make for the 996/997 at www. fabspeed.com? Sound sweet and looks relatively simple to make. Better than destroying a $2000 OEM muffler.
