Boxster Clutch

Hi all,
This is my first post on this forum, so be kind
I've got a 2.5 Boxster that needs a new clutch. My local Porsche dealer here in Houston, Texas has given me a quote but I'm not convinced it's competitive.
What sort of cost and number of hours would you all expect to have the clutch changed on a 1999 2.5 Boxster ?? Or if any of you know of a good mechanic for the work in Houston, that'd be gratefully received too.
thanks very much in advance

Check your other thread. I posted my cell number to give you my mechanic's name and phone number.

The Momentum Porsche off HWY 59 just placed a Porsche Cayman S on the showroom floor. We should try and meet our houston group at the location and talk...

Welcome Sharke22.

Randall - How are things? I am trying to get back into the Porsche scean and chat a little more... time well tell.

Post a photo. Our local dealer (McDaniels) hasn't gotten theirs yet, said maybe around Christmas I think. Can't wait to see one in person.
