I don't know but I usually follow the rule of thumb you get what you pay for.

I would hope that adverstisers and sponsors to the site/forum, have to meet some criteria, before they are allowed space.

It's one of the google ads that appear on the top of a thread.

Ah, not really any control over google ads. But by rule of thumb, those fake cheap "supercharger"/"turbocharger"s are a waste of what little money they cost.

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

The Google ads on our site "rotate" content all the time. We do not control those ads in any way, nor do we endorse the products featured in them.

Richard, how do they get access then? Which products do get endorsed by the forum?

No products receive an "endorsement" from the owners of the forum. We have several paid advertisers, of which Google is one of them.

In the Google arrangement, they rotate various ads at random at their choosing.

The other advertisers sell various Porsche products.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this thing on late night infomercials but called the vortex? Anyway I seem to also remember reading or seeing a consumer reports thing about it not doing a thing, maybe at the end of the magazine in their "hoax" section.

If it was that simple, every car would have it standard I think.

I have never seen any data that would substantiate the effectiveness of this "pretend" supercharger. Quality SC units are normally around $5K and up.

Caveat Emptor.
