987 motor in 986

Does anyone know what type problems I would run into installing a 2007 3.4 987 motor into a 2003 car 7.8 DME and removing a 2.7 motor. Pelican show it possible but has no real details. They show 3 pages of schematics with some wiring mods but It looked like they were for 02 and older car.
