Rear drop links knocking...

Do I have to fit whole new drop links, or are there rubbers / bushes I can change.

The actual metal part of the drop links will be fine, no?

Are you sure that they're to blame? My fronts were gone but my rears were fine last winter when I replaced them. You can use a crowbar to stress them while on a lift and see if they are good.

To replace, no need to get OEM. Rockauto sells Moog brand links w/ lifetime warranty for $25 ea. They were identical to the OEMs I removed at a quarter the price.

Make sure to support and lock out your suspension when doing the R&R, otherwise your camber will be off (if it's set up like the fronts -- ask how I know).

Thanks. Not 100% sure the noise is coming from the links. But am 100% there's a fair amount of play in them.

Links aren't adjustable - not sure how they could effect the camber...how does that work?

Again, the rears may be different, but on the fronts, the drop link mounting bolt is also the bolt that mounts the strut tower to the camber plate, remove it w/o supporting the control arm and boom!!, the whole thing will drop. Then you'll have to realign it, which I did by eyeball and ruler matching the other side. Still need to go get a real alignment though.
