M030 Sport Chassis ?

I was presently surprised to learn my 2002 S was fitted with this option from the factory. I don't think the previous owner even knew it had it as he did not state as such. Does anyone have experience with this option??

Thanks again to all of you who have been answering all of my questions. I do appreciate it.

I've got the Sport suspension option on my '98.....Can't compare it with one without, but it does handle the corners great ....Downside is that it rides a bit harsh over bumps, but just try to stay away from them!

Yes the "new" 02S corners quite well with the M030 suspension. I also have never tested one without it, so I don't know how much better it behaves. I think they all corner well. Ride is a little bumpy but not too bad. Not near as bad as my kids 04 Minicooper S with sport suspension. That was way bumpy....We sold it recently by the way, but not cause it was too stiff. Just wanted to get rid of the payment....

Thanks for replies
