I use the Mobil1 75W90 in the 928 and plan on replacing the Boxster's with the same. I haven't tried Swepco or any of the other performance brands. what difference did the Swepco make in the 928?

Btw, working on the Boxster from underneath is MUCH easier than the 928. The belly pans come off and go back on easily, unlike the 928's front pan.

The 5sp when cold is a bit stiff or notchy primarly second gear. Every one I know with a 5sp has complained of that regardless if how few or how many miles on the car. When warmed up it's fine. Swepco seems to nearly do a way with this isssue.
A good freind of mine used to use Mobile 1 in his 5sp and switched to Swepco. He said the shifts where better.
I never got around to changeing mine in the 89 928GT just lived with it. It only takes a few minutes for the gear oil to warm up. How ever would have switched when it was time to do so.
I did sell that car to another freind and he did change to swepco. He also said it helped.
