Help=Size Wind Deflector center

Can someone measure their 1998 Boxster Center Wind Deflector and send me the results I am trying to find the correct size=Larry_22

Keeping in mind that there is a slight dip in the middle, the middle measures 7.5 inches and on each side of that it is roughly 8.25 inches from the roll bar frame to the top.

Sizeing wind deflector

Thank you for quick reponse-how wide is the unit on the top and bottom counting tabs and without tabs stright across?

I'm curious as to why you need to measure out the size? They only come in two flavors. 986 and 987. 986 has that dip in the middle to clear the top's locking mechanism. The 987 is straight across.

I got a aftermaket windbox and it does not seem to fit and I have not been able to find an original-Larry

the aftermarket windbox fits i did not have the required part pf the clips thank you for your help-larry
