03-04 side vent removal and installation

Can anybody direct me to a proceedure for removing and installing the 03-04 style side vents? Are they tricky like the original style which require a separation and push of the piece with the louvers

I wish to avoid snapping something or damaging paint!

I took mine out the other day whilst considering a desnorkel (I have an '03) - it was really hard and I thought that I would be ordering a new one with the force i was giving it. The hardest part is the bottom lower corner closest to the door - it has a plastic part that follows the shape of the corner, the rest are just straight clips. The clips (x2) are on the corners of the vent towards the rear wheels - pull them toward you carefully and at the same time try to slide the whole vent towards the back wheels - it's hard but it worked for me. Thanks great advice! I was more concerned with the black plastic part with tabs that snaps onto the back of the exterior piece. The tabs fit into clips mounted in the fender....

Do they come out together? Or does one have to separate this part before removing like the old style?
