PorscheGirl Registered User Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Central Florida Posts: 13	What type of oil? What type of oil should I add to my 2000 Boxster? The oil level indicator is on the last notch above the minimum line so I thought I should add some. The manual says for 50 degrees or higher, Mineral 15 W-40, 20 W-50, or 20 W-40 or Synthetic 10 W-40, 15 W-40 or 15 W-50. For just everyday driving, which should I use? When I do add, do I pour the whole bottle into the oil filler? Remember, I'm a girl, bare with me!
