Another exhaust question

I'm considering adding the following to my 2001 2.7:

Schnell Headers......299 from Vertex
Catback muffler (probably the chan or whatever from ebay) 299 or so on ebay
Pedro's Techno Power kit......1,400 from Pedro.

The car is a 2001 2.7, with 75K miles and RoW suspension.

What I'm looking for is.....more power, better sound. (Yes, better is subjective, but I'd like to actually hear the exhaust note. Not loud (like my straight pipe HD Deuce that sets off car alarms all over town) but noticeable) Every time I come in from a track session the first thing I say is " I need more horsepower!!" I know I know,,,,I can either buy a newer S, or transplant a 3.2 or add a turbo, or.......but I don't want to do any of those. I LOVE my 986 as it is,,,except for the lack of horsepower. (And I'm a DE instructor so telling me to learn to drive the car before I start adding "stuff" is too late..ok so I'm not Mario and I can always learn something, but....) AND..>I don't want to spend $5K-10K to get there. Maybe getting the 20-40 hp (or 100??? lol) I'm wanting isn't possible without spending the big bucks, but I'd sure like to try.

So, the question to all you engineers/mechanics/exhaust specialists/techno nerds/and others in the know out there is.....What do you think? What can I realistically expect from doing the above? I'm admittedly not a n expert on any of this but, other than the reflash that Pedro will do, can do the work myself.

Any and all comments/suggestions welcome!

Thanks

Bob

I believe weight saving will have a better financial return than any mod out there. But with regards to exhaust, I have the fabspeed and love the sound it makes and extra umphh when I press the gas pedal. Don't go cheap on your car, Porsche's are designed for optimal performance stock with years of research, some of these aftermarket will lower your performance rather than increase.
