CV boot clamp

san rensho Registered User Join Date: May 2011 Location: Miami florida Posts: 1,591	CV boot clamp My CV joints are leaking grease right where the clamp holds the CV joint boot to the axle. The boot isn't cracked, the grease seems to be getting past the clamp. My question is, can I just cut off the old clamp and use a screw type radiator hose clamp in its place? __________________ Current car 2000 Boxster 2.7l red/black Previous cars 1973 Opel Manta 1969(?)
