19 inch turbo twist rims..real or fake?

How can i tell if my 19 inch turbo twist rims are real or fake. I know they are real an actually exist. But how do i know if they are Porsche rims?
Is there any marker or part number to look for?

Yes, they will have apart number if they are Porsche wheels.

Look at the back of the wheel and look at the back of the spokes. There should be a long part number starting with 986., 987., 996., or 997. The first three numbers are obviously refer to the model for which the wheels were originally intended.

Best way to tell is to compare the weight with someone who got the original porsche wheels. With some good digging skills you could also find those figures online (?) Dunno... just some ideas

I don't believe Porsche actually offered a 19" Turbo Twist. By the time they went to 19" wheels on the Turbo, they went to the newer 997 design.

Wheels made in many countries carry the TUV or JWL or ISO or whatever certs. The country of origin doesn't necessarily dictate the cert. But I understand what you're saying and it is good info, nonetheless.

I agree with you on technological advancement, madmods, but on the flip side of that, if you're really putting $$$ into having advanced tech, I can't imagine you're turning that much of a profit per wheel unless you let something else go, like QC looking the other way every now and then when it comes to selecting suppliers, material impurities, defects, etc. This isn't directed solely at China, either, this is happening everywhere.

Simple but valid point-maker: I see people with brand new cars, easily less than a year old, with a headlight or taillight bulb out. Yesterday I saw a new Audi S5, and I think we all know Audi's doing LED running lights, and only the right side was lit on this car. How does that happen with a nearly $60,000 (US) "premium" car? Someone's really pinching pennies when it comes to quality control and supplier selection.

Usarim.com makes replicas. They look nice...... But, yeah.... They are not Porsche rims and somehow would make my car seem like the pretty girl next door turned porn star. It just cheapens the experience.
