Nice job!
I love the look of the projector lights (I just bought Litronics this Spring). I don't think I would have the confidence or patience to open up the light housing, but this is a nice option for those that do.

Very good looking, though your corner triangles are leaving me scratching my head. What's the deal with those?
This looks pretty feasible and worth the time and effort. Thanks for sharing!

good job buddy. I was under the impression that the 986 light cannot be opened as i've read mutiple times on the forums. i opted for the litronics but yours look equally as good, and probably even outperforms the litronics. any pics of the beam pattern?

Are you able to "de-amber" them when you have them apart?

Can you post a detailed shopping list of what to order? Any more details about anything you had to do to get the high beam flap thing? Looks great

there is already a GB on HIDPLANET.com
There is already a GB on HIDPLANET.com for TRS.
Just search 'group buy'. We already have 8 people - need 2 more people. 15% off & free shipping
HIDPLANET.com is a great resource to learn about Xenon & HIDs.
I've researched this and the Morimoto's appear to be the best balance of price and performance. Let me know if you need more info to convert to Porsche lights.

Conversion progress!~!
I'm nearly done with Bi-Xenon conversion. Removing the covers are real fun! Tested the units in the car and look great. Now need to complete other one and install covers. I am checking to see if it is possible to get new covers from Bosch.
BTW thx MadMods for the install info!

Oh do let us know whether it is possible to get new covers for the headlights. It'll be cool if the covers can be replaced with the 2003-4 type
