So here are the options these prices are shipped anywhere in the us, with mil spec anodizing, and only if I can get 10 orders.

I would like to sell the kits at
-7075 - 190.10
-6061 - 165

Since this is the first production run Ill take a hit and do them at
7075 - 165.10
6061- 141.00

If I can get more than 10 people I can negotiate the prices down. Its a numbers game.

as for 6061 vs 7075. both behave the same thermally i.e. they expand at the same rates. 7075 is significantly stronger than 6061 in terms of raw strength. 7075 is usually used in Aerospace applications for structural parts. 6061 is typical for automotive and non structural applications.

Personally I think 6061 will be sufficient. The oem tubes are plastic which implies they arent subject to high mechanical loads.

If 10 people say they will buy it Ill pay the machinist tomorrow. No money will be exchanged until I have the parts in hand.

You are absolutely right, given it's brutally anodized to spec it won't go anywhere and loose conductivity until the end of time lol. Any of the 6xxx grade would still be overkill.... I've used 7075 cuz I have about one ton of it in OD50 bar stock sitting behind the shop :/ I really hope someone will rob it all off me one day so I can put a claim to the insurance company loll

You go too fast bud. You need to put up a prototype and send it out for tests (fitment, ect). Once you got that out then you can start taking orders. Just my advice

No your posts have been very helpful.

I wanted to do a large order so to keep the costs down. That way I dont spend like 500.00 on one tube lol.

Im not taking orders just yet I wanted to get at least some ones word that they would buy it before i have them made.

But please continue to provide feedback I appreciate and will take any suggestions into consideration more questions can only help improve the product

That's why I made the suggestion, I am tempted to buy some I saw on 6speed online for $225 but they are made in China.
