Glad you asked, Denver Steve!! And btw, I'm a she

After replacing ALL the rear control arms, as well as the front tie rods, the car drives just fine. And I am happy to report no balding tires since the latest tire purchase mentioned in my last post. The 19" rims are not and were never the problem.

HOWEVER...the latest is that she sat in the shop for 99 days for other work that was never completed. I replaced the intermediate shaft bearing, as there were pieces of metal in the filter discovered during an oil change. The spark plugs were replaced as well. While in the shop, I had my mechanic remove the fuel injectors, so I could take them to be cleaned. (Preventive maintenance)However, after blowing a gasket via a really nasty voicemail for the job taking so long, my mechanic demanded I remove my car from his shop. (Did I mention I paid this moron up front??) I then had the car pushed down the block to another shop for the injectors to be re-installed. Low and behold my car now has two misfires and it's not because the coils are bad. The second shop doesn't repair Porsches, as the first shop solely works on Porsches. I just had to get those injectors in and was unable to do it myself. I drove the car home after shelling out more cash to the second shop and the car had no pick up and sounded horrible. Clearly, I cannot drive this car for the moment. But, hey...she looks real nice sitting in my driveway.

The moron who claims to be a reputable Porsche specialist owes it to me to complete the mess he created, as I cannot afford to take it to a new mechanic. I just have to figure out how to get him to do it before I am forced to take legal action against him.

I haven't even had it a year and put only 7k miles on it. It's a shame she has spent more time on the rack than in my driveway. That being said, I still love the car.

After all that he still said - "I love this car". We should all be so enamored. I didn't see through the thread (although I could have missed it) if he actually test drove the car or inspected the tires prior to buying. So, what's up BFH?
