Lobo, what would I do without you correcting my grammar?
... and I'm a published author no less! I'll fix that right now. Thank you.

I love it!
I would be happy with 300 - 400 HP and some serious low-end grunt!

Well, 2011 S has 310 bhp. Try it, you'll like it.

I've driven my 2000S back to back with my buddy's '10 Carrera 4S. 250 bhp and 385 bHP respectively.
With complete honesty, I can say that on real roads with stop lights and traffic there isn't much difference. Yes, on ramps are pretty amazing in the C4S and just entertaining in my car, but shortly your on the highway and have to keep to the speed limits (more or less) and the extra power is unused again. I'm not saying the Boxster feels as powerful as the C4S, clearly when you get into it, the C4S is really scary fast. But I am saying that 95% of the time, there is no benefit to having the extra power, for me.
I think at 250 hp, the returns of more power start diminishing pretty quickly.

I have a C6 Corvette and a recently acquired 2000 S and the Boxster would be a hell of a car with an LS2/3. Don't know how they'd figure out the transmission in such a package but I'd be interested if somebody made a full kit.

Anytime, while I am not a grammarian or a published author I am a linguist, I suppose that might be why I pay attention to popular sayings. Or it could be my slightly sporadic OCD-like tendencies.
