Which wheel is lighter?
Can you tell me the weights of these wheels? I like the 5 spoke better; mainly because it looks easier to clean, and it looks lighter than the 10 spoke. I'm sure there is a list of wheel weights somewhere on this forum.

The wheels are both from an 04 S. I think I read that the wheels got lighter in 03. I'm coming from a Miata where wheel weight makes a bigger difference.

The five spokes are the lightest at around 21-22 Lbs.

Both wheels are very light but you're talking apples and oranges because they're not the same size (17"s vs 18"s) and you have to add tire weight to the equation.

Aren't the 5 spokes 18" and the 10 spoke 17"? 17" should be lighter....?

I am assuming they are both 17s. Wheel weight is pretty close between these two. I have several sets of the 10 spoke Boxster S IIs and I think the fronts are 19lb, rears 21.5lb Original Porsche wheels are nearly always lighter than replicas.

They're both from Carmax listings. They say they're both 17" but they say, "Actual features of this car may differ." So I guess I should call them.

5-spoke is only available in 18" & as far as I know is the lightest 18" boxster wheel

The OEM five spoke is only available in 18", and is supposed to be the lightest 18".....
